Adopt-A-Fund
Adopting a fund allows you to designate your donation to a particluar area or service for the benefit of Way Public Library. Choose to either donate on-line or download the mail-in form to donate to any of these worthy funds.
Art Fund
Established in 2002 to purchase works of art from children’s literature. The art gallery, located inside the Youth Activity Room, proudly exhibits each piece of art work along with the corresponding book from which the art work is known. There are 13 pieces of art from children’s literature in the gallery with room for more. New artwork is purchased when enough funds have been accumulated in the “Art Fund” to cover all related costs (print, matting, framing, plaque, book). Several of our works of art have been purchased by families and/or friends in honor or memory of a loved one. If you would like information on how to purchase a print of your own

Baldoni Classical/Opera Fund
This fund was established in honor of Dr. Paul Baldoni and one of his many passions in life. In 2008, Dr. Baldoni’s extensive collection of close to 500 classical and opera CD’s were donated to Way Library by his family. In July of that same year Dr. Baldoni’s family made his collection of photographs available for sale with all proceeds being designated to the Way Foundation. Proceeds from the sale of these photographs were used to fund an opera event at Way Library in May, 2009 featuring the Toledo Opera's Young Resident Artists. Donations to this fund will be used for future operatic performances and additions to the collection at Way.
Children’s Fund
This fund supports the many wants and needs of the Youth Services department at Way Library. Storytimes, programs, toys for the play area, children’s books, author visits, book discussion groups, and special events are just a few of the items supported by the Children’s Fund.
Davis Books on CD Fund
Books on CD is one of the fastest growing collections at Way Public Library today. Thanks to the ongoing generosity of Bill and Pam Davis, this fund has allowed Way to maintain its extensive collection. All donations to the fund are welcomed and used to purchase current titles.
Karen Morely Khan Music Fund
Established by the family of Karen Morely Khan as a tribute to her passionate spirit. Karen was an avid lover of music, art and children and since 2005, donations to Karen’s music fund have provided support for more 20 concerts/young artist performances at Way.
Large Print Book Fund
This newly created fund was established out of a need to supplement an increasingly popular print collection. Publishers are now offering simultaneous publication of the best sellers in large print, people who need or prefer them are generally able to obtain large print copies right away. As the demand grows we must also grow the collection. We hope you will consider donating to this fund today.
